WARREN, OHIO—MARCH 10, 2025—The Raymond John Wean Foundation is collecting period products during March in honor of Women’s History Month. Community members can drop off menstrual products (tampons, pads, liners, etc.) in their original packaging to the Wean Foundation’s office at 147 West Market Street in downtown Warren. Collection bins are located in the main lobby, which is open Tuesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Items collected will be distributed to representatives at Warren G. Harding High School in Warren, Chaney High School in Youngstown and to Wean Foundation grantee partner Inspiring Minds. These organizations will provide the products to menstruating individuals who need them.
“We know nearly 1 in 4 U.S. students cannot afford period products and that often contributes to missed school days,” said Wean Foundation President Jennifer Roller. “From elevating the works of historic women to shopping at women-owned businesses, there is so much one can do to honor Women’s History Month. This drive is our way of honoring Women’s History Month and supporting menstruating individuals in our community.”
